Keeping individual roses, shrubs, and trees properly watered can be a challenge with a standard hose. The Small Rose & Shrub Drip Irrigation Kit is the precise way to automatically water up to 15 individual plants with zero hassle. This complete package comes with everything you need from the faucet to the plant, allowing you to open the box and start building immediately. Designed for the easiest setup possible, it requires no glue, clamps, or complicated tools—our "Easy Loc" fittings simply push and twist to lock.
This easy-to-install DIY kit promotes deep root growth and vibrant foliage using 15 Pressure Compensating Shrubblers. Unlike standard drippers, Shrubblers are adjustable, allowing you to dial in the exact flow each plant needs—from a gentle trickle for new plantings to a steady stream for established bushes. The system is flexible and discreet; the 1/2" mainline runs through your garden bed while the small 1/4" micro tubing branches off to each specific plant.
We have pre-calculated the components so you don't have to; simply snap the parts together to ensure every plant receives uniform hydration. Most gardeners prefer to keep their hose available for other tasks, so we highly recommend adding a Brass Y-Splitter to your order so you can run your irrigation system and your garden hose simultaneously.
This system connects easily to any standard outdoor hose faucet.
Step 1: The Header (Faucet Assembly)
If you purchased the kit With Timer, attach the Timer to the faucet first. Next, simply screw on the Home Garden Filter, then the 30 PSI Pressure Regulator, and finally the 1/2" Easy Loc Female Hose Start. This entire assembly is commonly referred to as the "Header."
Step 2: Lay the Mainline
Run the 1/2" Mainline Tubing from the Header through your garden beds, snaking it near the plants you want to water. Use the Easy Loc Tee or Coupler to split the line if needed. Close the end with a simple Figure 8 End.
Step 3: Connect the Plants
Use the included Key Punch to punch a hole in the Mainline near each shrub or rose bush. Insert a 1/4" Transfer Barb and attach the 1/4" Micro Tubing to run towards the plant base.
Step 4: Install the Shrubbler
Attach a Pressure Compensating Shrubbler to the end of the micro tubing and stake it into the ground at the root zone. Adjust the flow by twisting the cap to match the plant's size and water needs.

Is this kit easy to install?
Yes! This kit is designed specifically for simple DIY installation. It requires no glue or special tools (other than the included key punch). Most users can install it in under an hour.
Can I connect this to a timer?
Absolutely. You can attach any standard hose faucet timer directly to the faucet before the filter assembly. We offer a version of this kit that includes the Galcon Bluetooth Timer (KRS1-T).
Does this work for trees?
Yes. The Shrubblers are excellent for small trees. For larger trees, you may want to place 2 or 3 Shrubblers around the base of the tree to ensure the entire root zone is watered.
What is a Shrubbler?
A Shrubbler is a type of emitter that sprays a small umbrella pattern of water. It is adjustable, so you can turn it down to a drip or open it up to a 12-inch diameter spray pattern.
Is it expandable?
Yes. This Kit will allow you to expand it up to an additional 100 ft of mainline and an additional 10 Shrublers
