Description

Beautiful Roses. Thriving Shrubs. Simplified Watering.

Hand-watering a medium-sized garden of roses, shrubs, or small trees is time-consuming and often wasteful. The Medium Rose & Shrub Drip Irrigation Kit is the efficient solution designed to automatically water up to 30 roses or shrubs. This complete package upgrades your watering infrastructure with 100 feet of mainline tubing, allowing you to reach further into your landscape and cover more ground with a single kit.

This easy-to-install DIY kit utilizes 30 Pressure Compensating Shrubblers to deliver water right where it's needed—at the root zone. These adjustable emitters let you customize the flow for each plant, ensuring your delicate roses get a gentle soak while thirsty shrubs get a heavier drink. The "Easy Loc" fittings require no glue or clamps, making assembly quick and painless.

We have pre-calculated the components so you don't have to; simply snap the parts together to create a professional-grade system. To make your gardening even easier, we highly recommend adding a Brass Y-Splitter to your order, allowing you to keep your garden hose attached for other tasks while your irrigation system runs.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

This system connects easily to any standard outdoor hose faucet.

Step 1: The Header (Faucet Assembly)
If using a timer, attach it to the faucet first. Then, screw on the Home Garden Filter, followed by the 30 PSI Pressure Regulator, and finally the 1/2" Easy Loc Female Hose Start. This "Header" assembly ensures clean, regulated water enters your system.

Step 2: Lay the Mainline
Run the 1/2" Mainline Tubing from the Header through your garden beds. Use the included Easy Loc Tees and Elbow to navigate corners and split the line to reach different areas. Close open ends with the Figure 8 Ends or End Cap.

Step 3: Connect the Plants
Use the Pocket Punch to create a hole in the Mainline near each plant. Insert a 1/4" Transfer Barb and attach a length of 1/4" Micro Tubing to run to the plant's base.

Step 4: Install the Shrubbler
Push a Pressure Compensating Shrubbler into the end of the micro tubing and stake it next to the plant. Twist the cap to adjust the spray pattern diameter (from a drip up to 12 inches) to match the root zone size.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is this kit easy to install?
Yes! This kit is designed specifically for simple DIY installation. It requires no glue or special tools (other than the included pocket punch). Most users can install it in under an hour.

Can I connect this to a timer?
Absolutely. You can attach any standard hose faucet timer directly to the faucet before the filter assembly. We offer a version of this kit that includes the Galcon Bluetooth Timer (KRS2-T).

Does this work for trees?
Yes. The Shrubblers are excellent for trees. For larger trees, place 2 or 3 Shrubblers evenly spaced around the drip line (the outer edge of the canopy) to encourage balanced root growth.

What is a Shrubbler?
A Shrubbler is a pressure-compensating emitter that sprays a small umbrella pattern of water. It is fully adjustable, allowing you to control the flow from a drip to a 12-inch diameter spray.

Is it expandable?
No. This medium kit designed as a complete system for up to 30 roses or shrubbs, you can customize the layout significantly. However, for systems that exceed 30 roses or shrubs, we generally recommend stepping up to our Large Kit or planning for a larger flow rate capacity.
