Description

Maximum Coverage for Large Landscapes. The Professional DIY Solution.

Maintaining a large property, orchard, or extensive container garden requires a robust watering system. The Large Individual Plant Drip Irrigation Kit is our highest-capacity solution, designed to water up to 280 individual plants automatically. This heavy-duty kit upgrades you to 3/4" Mainline Tubing, ensuring consistent water pressure over longer distances and allowing for higher flow rates than smaller 1/2" systems.

This complete DIY system promotes deep, healthy root growth by delivering water directly to the base of each plant using precision pressure-compensating emitters. By spot-watering only the plants you want, you eliminate the waste associated with sprinklers and significantly reduce weed growth. The system utilizes our "Easy Loc" fittings for the 3/4" mainline, which require no glue or clamps—simply push and twist to lock for a secure, leak-free connection.

Ideal for hillsides, vineyards, or large perimeter plantings, this kit offers professional-grade components in a simple, ready-to-install package. To maximize convenience, we highly recommend adding a Bluetooth High Flow Timer to automate your watering schedule and ensure your landscape thrives even when you're away.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

This system connects easily to any standard outdoor hose faucet.

Step 1: The Header (Faucet Assembly)
Start at the faucet. Attach the Filter first to protect your drippers from clogging, then the Pressure Regulator, and finally the 3/4" Easy Loc Female Hose Start. Note: This kit uses 3/4" fittings for higher capacity.

Step 2: Lay the 3/4" Mainline
Run the 3/4" Mainline Tubing through your landscape. This larger tubing supports longer runs and more plants. Use 3/4" Tees and Elbows to navigate corners or branch off to different areas.

Step 3: Punch and Connect
Use the included Punch Tool to make a hole in the Mainline near each plant. Insert a 1/4" Transfer Barb into the hole, then attach a length of 1/4" Micro Tubing to reach the plant's base.

Step 4: Place the Emitter
Push a Take-Apart Emitter into the end of the micro tubing and stake it in place. With 280 emitters included, you can double up on larger trees or shrubs for extra hydration.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why 3/4" Mainline instead of 1/2"?
For large systems with 280+ emitters, 1/2" tubing can run out of water capacity (flow rate) at the end of the line. 3/4" tubing allows for almost double the flow, ensuring the last plant gets as much water as the first.

Do I need a special faucet?
No. The kit includes an adapter that connects the 3/4" system to a standard outdoor hose faucet.

Can I use this for trees?
Yes. For larger trees, we recommend using the included 4 GPH emitters or placing multiple 1 GPH emitters around the drip line (canopy edge) of the tree.

Is it expandable?
While this kit is designed as a complete system for up to 280 individual plants, you can customize the layout. However, since this kit already maxes out the typical capacity of a single hose faucet zone (approx. 600 GPH), we do not recommend expanding it significantly further without adding another zone or checking your flow rate.

"No pressure loss"

"I was worried about reaching the back of my lot (about 200ft away). The 3/4 inch tubing in this kit solved that problem completely. Pressure is strong all the way to the last emitter."

✔ Compatibility Check

Before you buy, check your setup:

  • Water Source: Must be a standard outdoor hose faucet (Garden Hose Thread).
  • Tubing Size: This kit uses 3/4" Mainline. It is NOT compatible with 1/2" fittings unless you use an adapter.
  • Pressure: Requires at least 15 PSI. Includes regulator to maintain optimal pressure.

Complete Your System

Enhance your system with these recommended components:

  • High Flow LCD Timer: Essential for large systems. This timer allows enough flow for the 3/4" mainline to work effectively.
  • 3/4" Shut-Off Valve: Install these on different branches of your tubing to create zones you can turn on and off manually.
  • Extra Couplers: Very useful for repairs or if you need to extend the line further in the future.
