Follow these steps to ensure a leak-proof connection on your poly tubing.
Step 1: Prepare Tubing
Cut your 3/4" polyethylene tubing squarely where you want to install the valve. Ensure the cuts are clean and free of burrs.
Step 2: Unlock the Fittings
Rotate the locking collars on both ends of the valve backwards (towards the center handle) to expose the internal barbs. Do not remove the nuts completely.
Step 3: Connect Tubing
Push your poly tubing firmly over the barbs on each side until they hit the stops. You may need to use a wiggling motion to get the tubing over the barb lips.
Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the locking collars forward (over the tubing) to clamp the connection in place. Hand-tighten firmly.
