Description

Maximum Yield. Professional Grade Irrigation for Large Orchards.

For established groves and larger plantings, maintaining adequate pressure and flow across long rows is critical. The Large Orchard Drip Irrigation Kit is a high-capacity system designed to water up to 60 trees. Unlike smaller kits, this system upgrades your primary supply line to 3/4" Mainline Tubing, allowing you to run longer lines and water more trees simultaneously without losing pressure at the end of the row.

This hybrid system combines the high-flow capacity of 3/4" tubing with the precision of 1/2" Emitter Tubing. The emitter tubing features pressure-compensating drippers built every 9 inches, ensuring uniform water delivery even on slopes or uneven terrain. The included Easy Loc fittings make connecting the two sizes of tubing simple and secure—just push, twist, and lock.

To ensure your large investment is protected, we highly recommend automating this system with a Bluetooth High Flow Timer, which pairs perfectly with the 3/4" components of this kit.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

This system connects to a standard outdoor hose faucet but uses larger components for better flow.

Step 1: The High-Flow Header
Attach the 3/4" Heavy Duty Filter and 3/4" Pressure Regulator to your water source. Finally, screw on the 3/4" Easy Loc Female Hose Start. This larger assembly ensures your system gets the volume of water it needs.

Step 2: Lay the 3/4" Mainline
Run the 3/4" Mainline Tubing along the "head" of your orchard (perpendicular to your tree rows). This acts as your high-volume supply manifold.

Step 3: Branch to Rows
Use the 3/4" x 1/2" Easy Loc Reducing Tees to branch off from the large mainline into each row. Connect the 1/2" Emitter Tubing to these tees and run it down the length of the tree rows.

Step 4: Cap and Secure
Close the end of the 3/4" mainline with a 3/4" End Cap, and close the ends of the 1/2" emitter lines with 1/2" End Caps or Figure 8s. Stake everything down securely.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why does this kit use 3/4" tubing?
Using 3/4" tubing for the main supply line allows for higher water flow rates (GPM). This ensures that even with 60 trees, the trees at the very end of the line get the same water pressure as the ones at the start.

Can I connect this to a standard hose faucet?
Yes! The fittings adapt the standard hose thread (3/4" GHT) to the larger tubing. Standard residential faucets usually provide enough flow (5+ GPM) to run this system.

Is it expandable?
While this kit is designed as a complete system for up to 60 trees, you can customize the layout. However, since this kit already maxes out the typical capacity of a single hose faucet zone (approx. 600 GPH), we do not recommend expanding it significantly further without adding another zone or checking your flow rate.

"Game-Changer for My Orchard!"

"I bought the Large Orchard Irrigation Kit to upgrade my watering system for about 50 fruit trees, and I’m beyond impressed. Everything came neatly packed with clear labels, and the quality of the poly tubing and fittings is top-notch. The pressure-compensating emitter tubing ensures every tree gets consistent water—no more guessing or uneven growth. Installation was surprisingly smooth thanks to the included cut tool and Easy Loc fittings. I split the orchard into two zones, and the system handles it effortlessly."

✔ Compatibility Check

Before you buy, check your setup:

  • Water Source: Must be a standard outdoor hose faucet (Garden Hose Thread).
  • Pressure: Requires at least 15 PSI to operate effectively.
  • Flow Capacity: Standard house faucets (approx. 5 GPM) can support this entire kit at once.

Complete Your System

Enhance your system with these recommended components:

  • Bluetooth High Flow Timer: Automate your watering schedule without restricting the flow of your 3/4" system.
  • 3/4" Shut-Off Valves: Install these on your main supply line to isolate different zones.
  • Punch N Cut: Upgrade your installation tool for cleaner cuts and easier punching.
