Description

Thriving Plants on Every Deck. The Simple DIY Solution for Containers.

Potted plants and deck gardens dry out faster than any other part of the garden, often requiring daily attention. The Small Deck Garden Irrigation Kit is the simplest way to automatically water up to 45 pots with zero hassle. This complete package comes with everything you need from the faucet to the last container, allowing you to open the box and start building immediately. Designed for the easiest setup possible, it requires no glue, clamps, or complicated tools—our "Easy Loc" fittings simply push and twist to lock.

This easy-to-install DIY kit promotes lush, vibrant blooms using the included 1/4" Soaker Dripline and Pot Drippers. This versatile tubing can be looped inside round pots or run straight through window boxes to deliver water gently to the root zone, preventing the runoff common with hand watering. The system is incredibly discreet; the small 1/4" tubing can be easily tucked behind planters or under railings to keep your deck looking clean.

We have pre-calculated the components so you don't have to; simply snap the parts together to ensure every container or pot receives uniform hydration. Most gardeners prefer to keep their hose available for cleaning the deck or other tasks, so we highly recommend adding a Brass Y-Splitter to your order so you can run your irrigation system and your garden hose simultaneously.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

This system connects easily to any standard outdoor hose faucet.

Step 1: The Header (Faucet Assembly)
If you purchased the kit with Timer, attach the Timer to the faucet first. Next, simply screw on the Filter, next the Pressure Regulator, and finally the Easy Loc Female Hose Start. This entire assembly is commonly referred to as the Header.

Step 2: Lay the Mainline
Run the 1/2" Mainline Tubing from the Header around the perimeter of your deck or patio. Use the Easy Loc Tee or Coupler to navigate corners. Close the end with a simple Figure 8 End.

Step 3: Connect the Containers
Use the included Punch Tool to punch a hole in the Mainline near each pot. Insert a 1/4" Transfer Barb and attach the 1/4" Micro Tubing to run up to the pot or planter box.

Step 4: Layout the Dripline
Inside the container, connect the 1/4" Soaker Dripline to the Micro Tubing. For round pots, create a loop of soaker line around the plant base. For rectangular planters, run the line straight down the middle. Secure it with the Hold Down Stakes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is this kit easy to install?
Yes! This kit is designed specifically for simple DIY installation on decks and patios. It requires no glue or special tools. Most users can install it in under an hour.

Can I connect this to a timer?
Absolutely. You can attach any standard hose faucet timer (like our Galcon or Orbit models) directly to the faucet before the filter assembly for fully automatic watering.

Does this work for hanging baskets?
Yes. The included 1/4" Micro Tubing can be run up walls or posts to reach hanging baskets. You can then loop the Soaker Dripline inside the basket for gentle watering.

How do I hide the tubing?
The 1/2" Mainline is best run along the perimeter of the deck or under the rim joist. The smaller 1/4" Micro Tubing is very discreet and can be tucked behind pots or under railings.

Is it expandable?
Yes. This system is designed to grow with your container garden. You can easily add more pots by purchasing additional components:

"Saved my vacation"

"I used to hire a neighbor to water my deck pots when I traveled, but they always died. Set this up with a timer before a 2-week trip and came back to plants bigger than when I left. The 1/4 inch tubing is super easy to hide."

"Perfect for window boxes"

"I have 5 large window boxes on my deck railing. Running the soaker dripline through them was genius. No more standing there with a hose for 20 minutes every evening. The fittings clicked right together."

"Commercial quality parts"

"Most deck kits come with cheap plastic connectors that pop off under pressure. These Easy Loc fittings are the real deal. I've had mine set up for three summers now and haven't had a single leak."
