Scenario 1: Repairing Punctures or Leaks
If you have an unwanted hole in your 1/2" Mainline Tubing, you don't need to replace the whole line. Simply push one of the included 1/4" Goof Plugs firmly into the hole to seal it instantly.
Scenario 2: Splicing Broken Lines
For major damage (like an accidental cut), cut out the damaged section cleanly. Take an Easy Loc Coupler, push the two clean ends of the 1/2" Mainline Tubing into either side, and twist the locking nuts tight to restore water flow securely.
Scenario 3: Expanding to a New Bed
Want to add a new raised bed? Cut your existing mainline, insert a 1/2" Easy Loc Tee, and run new 1/2" tubing to your new location. You can cap off the new run with a 1/2" Easy Loc End Cap.
Scenario 4: Adding New Plants
Use the included Key Punch to easily punch a hole anywhere in your Mainline. Insert either a 1/4" Transfer Barb (to run micro-tubing to the plant) or plug one of the included CETA PC Emitters directly into the hole for precision root-zone watering.

Will these fittings work on any tubing?
These Easy Loc fittings are specifically sized for standard 1/2" Polyethylene Mainline Tubing, which has an Outside Diameter (OD) of approximately 0.700". They are not compatible with larger 3/4" tubing.
Do I need any special tools?
No special heavy tools, heat, or glue are required. The Easy Loc fittings simply push onto the tubing and lock with a twisting nut. We have also included a Key Punch tool for making precise holes for your new emitters.
What are goof plugs used for?
Goof plugs are a gardener's best friend. If you punch a hole in the wrong spot, or if you decide to remove a plant and its emitter, simply push a goof plug into the hole to seal the mainline tightly.
How do the Couplers with Valves work?
The included Easy Loc Couplers with Valves allow you to splice your mainline while also introducing a shut-off point. This is excellent for turning off water to specific garden beds after a harvest, without needing to shut down your entire system.
