Lawn Sprinkler Buying Guide

DripWorks has a large Youtube channel that answers almost every question I had as a first time user of drip irrigation. The delivery time a bit long, but I was warned of that when ordering. The items are in good condition and will hopefully last a long time, but are not costly enough for me to be upset if I have to replace something next season or even this one. I wish some shut off valves would have been included, but otherwise no complaints.
As a theater person laying this system out reminded me of running audio or video cable: easy but you need a clear planned route! The garden diagrams on the DripWorks website are extremely useful, I tweaked one of them for my needs. It is taking some getting used to after using a spray hose hand watering method for so long. It helped to only lay out dripline off the main tube to a few beds to test how much drip line I need per bed and what duration of dripping works best....but gardening is always a grand experiment & I am enjoying the iterative process. Plus it's easy to add another dripline off the main tubing in places I need more H2O. Totally worth the price.
Easy installation. Had most everything I needed, would have been nice to include more 3/4 inch elbows and T connectors. Otherwise I'm happy.
Excellent product. Easy to use. Much better quality than the off-the-shelf stuff that is offered at the big box stores. I am going to purchase the Miracle Insert tool for installing however. We have a lot of irrigation to put in and it will save on sore fingers!
Every thing went together well. I had to buy some extra fitting to run it the way I wanted.
I purchased this system in May of last year; my beds are in the front yard so they get full sun, and here in Colorado that translates into a challenge keeping everything moist. After installing the system, my garden turned into a jungle! I used the emitters in conjunction with alfalfa pellets for mulch, and had no more issues keeping the plants perfectly watered. It is more efficient with respect to water and time; and the results are noticeable. People driving by would stop and ask me what fertilizer I used! We didn't actually use anything except compost, manure, and alfalfa pellets, but the real key to success was being able to deliver precisely the right amount of water directly to the roots.
