Description

Double Your Capacity. The Seamless Expansion for Indoor Gardens.

Does your plant collection keep growing? The Indoor Garden Add-On Kit (KINA1) is explicitly designed to piggyback onto your existing Base Indoor Garden Kit, instantly doubling your watering coverage from 8 plants to 16 plants or containers.

This add-on utilizes an ingenious stackable design. Instead of needing a second faucet or a complex network of splitters, this kit includes a second 8-Way Manifold that simply screws directly onto the top of your existing base hub. It includes a fresh 50-foot roll of flexible 1/4" vinyl micro tubing, another 50-foot roll of Brown Soaker Dripline, and all the necessary transfer barbs, tees, and hold-downs to easily reach your new plant additions.

Pro Tip: Please note that this is NOT a stand-alone kit. It does not include a pressure regulator or a hose connection base. The purchase and installation of the base Indoor Garden Kit (KIN1) is required to use this expansion.

How to Install: Stack & Expand

Expanding your system takes just a few minutes using the stackable manifold design.

Step 1: Stack the New Manifold
On your existing base kit (KIN1), unscrew the top cap off the original 8-Way Manifold. Take the new FHT x 1/2" MPT PVC Elbow Adapter included in this add-on kit and thread it onto the exposed top of your original manifold. Finally, screw your new 8-Way Manifold onto that elbow. You now have a 16-port watering tower!

Step 2: Run the Micro Tubing
Remove the caps from the ports on your new upper manifold. Attach one end of the included 1/4" Vinyl Micro Tubing to a port, and route the tubing directly to your new plant pots. Cut to the desired length.

Step 3: Layout the Dripline
Using a 1/4" Transfer Barb or Tee, connect the 1/4" Brown Soaker Dripline to the end of the micro tubing inside the pot. Loop the dripline around the base of your plant for even watering. Secure the dripline in the soil using the included 1/4" Hold Downs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I use this kit by itself?
No. This is strictly an add-on expansion package. It does not include a hose thread connector, filter, pressure regulator, or base. You must have the Base Indoor Garden Kit to connect this to a water source.

How many Add-On Kits can I stack together?
While the physical design allows you to stack several manifolds, we generally recommend stacking a maximum of three 8-way manifolds total (1 Base + 2 Add-Ons) for optimal water pressure and flow distribution across all 24 potential plants.

Is the water flow still adjustable?
Yes! Just like the base kit, the 8-way manifold included in this add-on features adjustable caps. You can independently tweak or shut off the water flow to any of the 8 new plant stations.

Is it expandable?
Yes, as mentioned above, if you've already purchased one Add-On kit, you can purchase a second Add-On kit and stack it on top of the first one to reach a total of 24 watering ports.

"Easiest expansion ever"

"I bought the base kit a year ago, but my Monstera collection got out of hand. I ordered this add-on and it took literally two minutes to screw it onto the top of my existing manifold and start running the new lines. Such a smart design."

"Works perfectly on the patio"

"I have 14 large pots on my back deck. Getting this add-on to go with the base kit was cheaper than trying to build a PVC system from scratch. The water pressure is surprisingly even across all 16 ports."

"Saves so much time"

"I run a small greenhouse operation from my home. Stacking these manifolds means I have less clutter on the floor. Just one central hub watering 16 different seed starter trays. Highly recommend it."
