Description

The Missing Link for Your Ein Dor Mini-Sprinkler Setup.

The Ein Dor Collar (SKU: MECOL) is a small but essential press-fit adapter fitting that bridges your Ein Dor Mini-Sprinkler with a standard 1/4" micro tubing line via a press-fit tee or coupler. Without this collar, the Ein Dor sprinkler body cannot properly seat into a press-fit tee or coupler — making this a required component whenever you are building out a press-fit micro-irrigation circuit that runs 1/4" tubing between fittings rather than using a full support stake assembly.

✔ Compatibility & Installation Check

Before ordering, confirm the following:

  • Sprinkler Type: This collar is designed for Ein Dor Mini-Sprinklers. It is not a universal press-fit adapter for all sprinkler types.
  • Tubing Size: Your distribution line must be 1/4" poly micro tubing. This collar connects the sprinkler to 1/4" press-fit fittings (tees or couplers), not to 1/2" or 3/4" mainline tubing directly.
  • Fitting Type: You'll also need a compatible press-fit coupler or press-fit tee. This collar does not include those fittings.
  • Overhead Use: For inverted greenhouse installations, add an Anti-Drip Device (MEAD) to prevent drip-out.
  • Pressure: Operate your system at a minimum of 20 PSI (30 PSI recommended). Install a pressure regulator if needed.

Complete Your Press-Fit Sprinkler System

Pair the MECOL collar with these components for a fully functional Ein Dor micro-irrigation circuit:

  • Ein Dor Mini-Sprinklers: Full-circle mini-sprinklers available in 5, 9, 18, and 32 GPH for flowers, groundcover, propagation, and landscape beds.
  • 1/4" Micro Fittings: Tees, elbows, and couplers to route your 1/4" distribution line throughout the irrigation zone.
  • Press-Fit Support Stake Assemblies: Elevate your Ein Dor sprinklers above plantings using 13", 18", or 36" stake options.
  • Press-Fit Shutoff Valves: Add individual on/off control to each sprinkler in your circuit without shutting down the zone.
  • Irrigation Timers & Controllers: Automate your watering schedule with battery-powered or AC controllers compatible with standard drip systems.
  • Pressure Regulators: Protect your sprinkler heads and ensure uniform distribution if your inlet pressure exceeds the recommended range.
  • Drip Filters: Protect small press-fit fittings and sprinkler orifices from debris and sediment in your water supply.
