Replacement MixRite Pistons and Seal Kits

Following DEMA's official maintenance guidelines will help maximize the service life of your MixRite injector and its seals:

• Always use a 120-mesh (130-micron) filter upstream of the MixRite inlet. This prevents particles from reaching and abrading the internal seals prematurely.
• Regularly clean the suction screen filter on the intake strainer to maintain consistent draw.
• Rinse the unit before extended downtime. If the injector will be out of use for a long period, run the suction tube in clean water for a few minutes to flush out any fertilizer or chemical residue that could solidify inside the pump.
• Winterize properly. If temperatures will drop below 39°F (4°C), drain all water from the pump to prevent freeze damage to seals and internal components.
• Lubricate O-rings when reassembling the suction check valve to ensure a proper seal and prevent premature wear.

How do I know which kit to order?
Select the piston or seal kit that corresponds to your MixRite model's injection rate — 2%, 4%, or 10%. The injection rate percentage is printed on the label of your unit.

Can I use acids or corrosive chemicals with standard MixRite seals?
No. Acids, caustics, and abrasives should not be used with standard MixRite injectors or their seals unless your specific MixRite model (such as the internal bypass model) is explicitly rated for those chemicals.

Are O-rings and seals covered under warranty?
No. Per DEMA's warranty policy, rubber and synthetic rubber parts including O-rings, diaphragms, and gaskets are considered expendable wear items and are not covered under the standard one-year warranty.
