Replacement MixRite Intake Strainer (For 2% and 4% Models)

This intake strainer is compatible with the following MixRite models:

• MixRite 2% models (TF-series)
• MixRite 4% models (TF-series)

Not compatible with MixRite 1% models or the large-scale TF25 series. Please verify your injector's model number before ordering.

How do I know when to replace my intake strainer?
Replace the strainer if you notice a decline in injection accuracy, reduced fertilizer uptake, or visible damage or clogging of the screen mesh.

Inspect the strainer at the start and end of each irrigation season as part of routine MixRite maintenance.

What is the intake strainer's role in the MixRite system?
The intake strainer sits at the end of the suction tube submerged in your fertilizer solution. It filters out particles before they are drawn into the injector's pump mechanism, preventing clogging and protecting the precision internal components.

Do I need a backflow preventer with my MixRite?
Yes. A backflow prevention device is strongly recommended — and often required by local codes — whenever a fertilizer injector is used, to prevent fertilizer or additives from contaminating your potable water supply.
