Miracle Insert Tool

A quick guide to saving your fingers during micro tubing installation.

Step 1: Load the Tool
Place one end of your 1/4" or 1/8" transfer barb into the recessed slot at the head of the Miracle Insert Tool so it is held securely.

Step 2: Position the Tubing
Hold your piece of micro tubing firmly in your opposite hand. If the tubing is cold or stiff, let it sit in the sun for a few minutes to soften.

Step 3: Push to Insert
Align the exposed end of the transfer barb with the opening of your micro tubing. Use the handle of the tool to push the barb straight into the tubing until it is fully seated.

Step 4: Remove the Tool
Simply pull the tool away. The barb is now securely attached to the tubing and ready to be inserted into your mainline.

The Miracle Insert Tool provides mechanical leverage, allowing you to push tiny transfer barbs into stiff micro tubing in a fraction of a second. This saves massive thumb fatigue during spring setups.

Setting up dozens of patio pots requires a lot of 1/4" micro tubing connections. Pushing those barbs by hand will quickly cause blisters; this inexpensive tool makes the process painless and fast.

Can I use the Miracle Insert Tool to put 1/4" tees or elbows into my micro tubing?
No, the Miracle Insert Tool is designed exclusively to hold and insert straight transfer barbs. It will not properly grip or insert 1/4-inch tees, elbows, or cross fittings.

The recessed slot on the tool is specifically molded to perfectly cradle the cylindrical body of a straight barb. Angled fittings will not fit into the tool's head.

Does the Miracle Insert Tool punch holes in 1/2-inch mainline tubing?
No, the Miracle Insert Tool is strictly an insertion aid for micro tubing and does not contain a sharp tip. It will not punch holes in your 1/2-inch mainline tubing.

If you need to create holes in your mainline to attach your transfer barbs, you will need to purchase a dedicated irrigation hole punch, such as the Pocket Punch or Key Punch.

Will the Miracle Insert Tool work for 1/8" transfer barbs?
Yes, the Miracle Insert Tool can accommodate smaller 1/8-inch transfer barbs. However, you must use gentle pressure to ensure you do not bend or kink the delicate 1/8-inch micro tubing.

Because 1/8" tubing has a much thinner wall than standard 1/4" tubing, pushing too hard with the leverage of this tool can cause the tubing to collapse.
