Description

Water-Powered Proportional Injectors for Commercial & Agricultural Fertigation

The Large-Scale MixRite Injector (Adjustable) is a professional-grade, water-driven fertigation pump engineered for high-flow irrigation systems on farms, orchards, nurseries, and commercial growing operations. Available in three models — the TF-5 (IMRTF52), TF-10 (IMRTF102), and TF-25 (IMRTF252) — these injectors deliver precise, proportional doses of liquid fertilizer, pesticides, or other irrigation additives directly into your water line with zero electricity required. The unit is powered entirely by water flow, which creates an internal vacuum that draws concentrate into the stream at your selected dilution ratio. For smaller operations, see our smaller-scale MixRite injectors.

Note: This product is not available for online purchase. Please contact us at support@dripworks.com or call 1-800-522-3747 (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4 PM PST) for a shipping quote or to place an order. MixRite injectors are not rated for constant pressure — they must be installed downstream of automated timers or valves.

Technical Specifications by Model

All models operate within a pressure range of 15–120 PSI and are intended for fertilizers, pesticides, and standard agricultural additives. Not designed for strong acids, alkalines, or solvents.

Part # Model Flow Range Dilution Ratio Pressure Range Inlet/Outlet
IMRTF52 TF-5 0.1 – 22 GPM 0.2% – 2.0% (500:1 – 50:1) 15 – 120 PSI 1" MPT
IMRTF102 TF-10 2 – 45 GPM 0.2% – 2.0% (500:1 – 50:1) 15 – 120 PSI 1-1/2" MPT
IMRTF252 TF-25 9 – 110 GPM 0.3% – 2.5% (333:1 – 40:1) 15 – 120 PSI 2" MPT
Key Features & Benefits
  • 100% Water-Powered: Requires no electricity or external energy source — the flow of water drives the injection mechanism, making installation simple and operating costs minimal.
  • Proportional Dosing: Delivers concentrate at a consistent, adjustable ratio regardless of flow rate fluctuations, ensuring uniform nutrient delivery across your entire irrigation zone.
  • Self-Priming: Begins drawing solution automatically once water flows — no manual priming required.
  • Three Size Options: The TF-5 handles up to 22 GPM, the TF-10 up to 45 GPM, and the TF-25 up to 110 GPM — covering everything from small commercial farms to large agricultural operations.
  • Bypass Installation: Recommended for installation on a bypass line to allow for easy cleaning and maintenance without interrupting the main water supply.
  • NPT Threaded Connections: All models feature standard NPT pipe thread inlets/outlets for straightforward integration into existing mainline systems.
Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this injector with strong acids or solvents?
No. MixRite TF-Series injectors are designed for typical fertilizers, pesticides, and standard agricultural or irrigation additives only.

They are not rated for strong acids, alkalines, or solvents. Contact DripWorks if you need guidance on specialized chemical compatibility.

Which model do I need for my flow rate?
Choose the TF-5 (IMRTF52) for systems running up to 22 GPM, the TF-10 (IMRTF102) for up to 45 GPM, and the TF-25 (IMRTF252) for high-flow systems up to 110 GPM.

All models operate within a 15–120 PSI range. If you're unsure which fits your system, call our team at 1-800-522-3747.

Can the injector be left under constant pressure?
No. MixRite injectors are not rated for constant pressure and must be installed downstream of automated timers or valves so they only pressurize during active watering cycles.

How should I install the injector?
DripWorks recommends installing the MixRite on a bypass line, which allows you to isolate the unit for cleaning and maintenance without shutting down your entire irrigation system.

All models use standard NPT pipe thread connections. Refer to the model-specific spec sheet below for detailed installation diagrams.

✔ Compatibility & Important Notes

  • Not for Constant Pressure: Must be installed downstream of automated timers or valves.
  • Bypass Installation Recommended: Mount on a bypass line for easy maintenance without disrupting irrigation flow.
  • Chemical Compatibility: For use with standard fertilizers and pesticides only — not strong acids, alkalines, or solvents.
  • Ordering: This product is not available to purchase online. Call 1-800-522-3747 or email support@dripworks.com for pricing and shipping quotes.

Complete Your System

  • Irrigation Filters: Always install a filter upstream of your injector to protect the dosing mechanism from debris and sediment.
  • Irrigation Valves: Required upstream of the injector — MixRite units must not be placed under constant line pressure.
  • All Fertilizer Injectors: Browse our full selection, including smaller MixRite models, Mazzei injectors, and EZ-FLO units.
  • Fertilizers & Soil Amendments: Water-soluble and liquid fertilizers compatible with proportional injector systems.
