Description

High-Efficiency Directional Fogging for Greenhouses & Livestock

Whether you are managing late spring seed propagation, regulating high summer temperatures in a commercial greenhouse, or keeping livestock cool in a sultry barn, the 2-Way Fogger with Anti-Drip from Rivulis delivers professional-grade performance. Engineered to produce a microscopic 70-micron mist, this dual-nozzle fogger flash-evaporates water to drop ambient temperatures and boost humidity rapidly without soaking the area below. To protect your delicate seedlings and animals, the built-in anti-drip mechanism ensures the fogger shuts off instantly when system pressure drops, completely preventing post-cycle dripping and over-watering. It can be easily adapted to run on rigid PVC systems or suspended overhead on flexible 1/2" poly mainline tubing for maximum versatility.

Why Choose the 2-Way Fogger with Anti-Drip?
  • Built-In Anti-Drip: Protects plants from fungal diseases and prevents muddy barn floors by instantly sealing the nozzles the moment your water cycle shuts down.
  • 70-Micron Atomization: The ultra-fine mist evaporates quickly in the air, creating a powerful cooling and humidifying effect without leaving surfaces drenched.
  • Focused 2-Way Distribution: Two opposing nozzles provide a highly efficient, bi-directional spread, perfect for narrow propagation tables, pathways, or specific animal stalls.
  • Versatile Installation Options: Designed to fit perfectly into rigid PVC pipe using a specialized grommet, or into standard 1/2" or 3/4" poly mainline tubing using press-fit adapters.

How to Install the 2-Way Fogger

This fogger requires specific adapters depending on your supply line type. Follow the steps for your setup.

For Installation into Poly Tubing:

Step 1: Use a DripWorks punch tool to create a clean 1/4" hole in your suspended poly tubing.

Step 2: Pre-assemble your press-fit components. Insert one end of a press-fit coupler (MENIP) into the top of the 2-Way Fogger, and insert the other end into a press-fit barb (MEBARB).

Step 3: Push the barbed end of your newly assembled unit firmly into the punched hole in your poly tubing until it snaps securely.

For Installation into PVC Pipe:

Step 1: Drill a 7/16" hole into your 3/4" or larger PVC pipe. We highly recommend using a specialized grommet drill bit (GROMDRILL) to prevent shattering the PVC.

Step 2: Insert a rubber anti-drip grommet (MEGRO) completely into the drilled hole.

Step 3: Thread the base of the 2-Way Fogger directly into the rubber grommet for a watertight seal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the 2-Way Foggers good for late spring seed propagation?
Yes, the 2-Way Fogger is highly recommended for spring seed propagation. Its ultra-fine 70-micron mist ensures high greenhouse humidity without over-saturating delicate seedlings or washing fine soils out of propagation trays.

How does the built-in anti-drip work on the 2-Way Fogger?
The anti-drip mechanism instantly seals the fogger nozzles when system pressure drops at the end of a watering cycle. This entirely prevents the supply line from draining and dripping onto the plants or livestock below.

What water pressure is needed for the 2-Way Fogger with Anti-Drip?
This commercial-grade unit requires high pressure to atomize water and keep the anti-drip valve open. It must be operated within a strict pressure range of 50 to 72 PSI.

How do I install the 2-Way Fogger into poly tubing vs PVC?
For poly tubing, you must assemble and insert the fogger using a press-fit nipple and press-fit barb. For PVC pipe, drill a 7/16-inch hole, insert a specialized rubber grommet, and thread the fogger directly into it.

✔ Compatibility Check

Please note the strict installation requirements for these foggers:

  • Extra Parts Required: This fogger cannot connect to tubing on its own. For Poly Tubing, you must buy the MENIP and MEBARB. For PVC, you must buy the MEGRO.
  • High Filtration Needed: Due to the microscopic nozzle size, an ultra-fine 200 mesh filter is absolutely mandatory to prevent immediate clogging. Standard 150 mesh filters are not sufficient.
  • High Pressure Required: The anti-drip valve will not open on low-pressure gravity or rain barrel systems. You need 50 to 72 PSI for operation.
