How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Install row-control takeoffs in four easy steps.

Step 1: Punch the Mainline
Lay out your 1/2" (or larger) poly tubing. Use a standard 1/4" Punch Tool like the Purple Handle or Miracle Punch to create a clean hole where you want your drip tape row to start.

Step 2: Insert the Barb
Push the 1/4" barb end of the fitting into the punched hole until it snaps into place. Ensure the valve handle is easily accessible for future adjustments.

Step 3: Prepare the Tape
Rotate the Tape Loc nut backwards (towards the valve) to expose the sharp tape barb. Slide your 5/8" drip tape over the barb until it hits the stop.

Step 4: Lock and Control
Twist the locking nut forward over the tape and hand-tighten firmly. Use the red handle (parallel to the valve for "on", perpendicular for "off") to test and manage your row flow.
