Description

Customized Drip Irrigation for Every Plant

Mini Inline Emitters (10 Pack) offer the ultimate flexibility for creating a customized watering system tailored to the specific layout of your garden. Designed with a barbed inlet and outlet on either side of a small disc-shaped body, these emitters plug directly into 1/4" micro-tubing.

Because they are installed in series, you can place multiple emitters along a single run of micro-tubing at varying intervals. This makes them perfect for weaving through densely planted beds, circling the base of larger trees or shrubs, or watering individual pots spaced sporadically along a deck.

Why Choose Mini Inline Emitters?
  • Custom Spacing: Place emitters exactly where your plants need them, rather than relying on pre-spaced factory dripline.
  • Mix & Match Flow Rates: You can use 1/2 GPH, 1 GPH, and 2 GPH emitters on the same line to deliver precisely the right amount of water to plants with different needs.
  • Non-Directional Design: Water can flow in either direction through the emitter, making assembly quick and mistake-free.
  • Clog-Resistant: Features a turbulent flow path inside the emitter body to reduce the buildup of sediment and debris.
  • UV Resistant: Constructed from engineering-grade plastic designed to withstand harsh sunlight without breaking down.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Mini Inline Emitters suitable for potted patio plants?
Yes, they are ideal for container gardening. Because they install directly inline with the 1/4" tubing, you can route a single line across your patio and place an emitter precisely over each pot.

This eliminates the need for multiple "spaghetti" lines branching off a mainline, keeping your deck area neat, tidy, and trip-free.

Can I use these emitters for my spring hanging baskets?
Yes, running 1/4" tubing with inline emitters is a highly effective way to keep spring and summer hanging baskets perfectly hydrated as the weather warms up.

Hanging baskets dry out much faster than ground plants, especially as we move into mid-May and the summer heat. Installing these emitters allows you to easily automate their watering schedule so they never wilt.

Can I mix different flow rates on the same micro-tubing run?
Yes, you can easily mix 1/2, 1, and 2 GPH Mini Inline Emitters on the same 1/4" line to accommodate different plants with varying watering needs.

Just ensure the total combined flow rate of all emitters on a single run of 1/4" tubing does not exceed its maximum capacity of 30 GPH.

Does it matter which way I install them on the tubing?
No, Mini Inline Emitters feature a non-directional design. You can push your 1/4" micro-tubing onto either barbed end, making assembly fast and virtually mistake-proof.

Do I need to plug the end of the tubing run?
Yes, you must cap the very end of your 1/4" micro-tubing run after the final inline emitter. We recommend using a simple 1/4" Goof Plug inserted into the tubing to securely seal it.

✔ Compatibility Check

To use these emitters effectively, you will need:

  • 1/4" Micro-Tubing: Connects to both barbed ends of the emitter to create a consecutive chain.
  • 1/4" Transfer Barb: To punch into your 1/2" or 3/4" mainline tubing to start the micro-tubing run.
  • 1/4" Goof Plug: To cap the very end of the micro-tubing run.
