Description

Low-Profile Drip Irrigation Support Stakes for Flower & Show Gardens

The Antelco Asta® Straight Stake is a UV-stabilized support stake designed to hold 1/4" polyethylene micro tubing or Rigid Risers securely in the ground while keeping your irrigation system looking neat and unobtrusive. A grooved channel along the main body snaps the tubing firmly into place — keeping it off the soil surface and making the stake far less visible than traditional alternatives. This makes it an especially popular choice for flower beds and show gardens where aesthetics matter.

Key Features
  • Low-Profile Groove Design: The grooved channel along the stake body holds tubing flush, keeping micro tubing and risers tidy and discreet in garden beds.
  • Four Height Options: Available in 8", 12", 16", and 21" to suit a variety of micro sprayer heights and planting conditions.
  • UV-Stabilized Material: Engineered to resist UV degradation for long-lasting outdoor performance.
  • Compatible with Rigid Risers: Pairs directly with Antelco Rigid Risers (0.300" OD) for added height and stability when mounting mini sprayers or emitters.
  • Sold in 5-Packs: Convenient packs make it easy to stock up for larger garden installations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this stake work with 1/4" vinyl tubing?
No. The Straight Stake's groove is designed specifically for 1/4" polyethylene (PE) micro tubing or Rigid Risers (0.300" OD). It is not compatible with 1/4" vinyl tubing.

Which height should I choose?
The 8" stake works well for ground-level emitters and low plantings. The 12" is the most common all-purpose height. The 16" and 21" options are ideal when you need to elevate a mini sprayer above taller ground cover or dense foliage.

How do I connect the stake to my mainline?
Punch a hole in your 1/2" mainline tubing, insert a 1/4" transfer barb, then snap your 1/4" PE micro tubing into the stake's groove. Install your mini sprayer or emitter at the top of the stake or riser.

✔ Compatibility Check

  • Tubing: Works with 1/4" PE micro tubing and Rigid Risers (0.300" OD). Does not fit 1/4" vinyl tubing.
  • Not a pressure-rated fitting: This is a support stake only — it does not carry water itself.

Complete Your Micro Irrigation Assembly

  • 1/4" Polyethylene Micro Tubing: Snap into the stake's groove to run water from your mainline to the emitter.
  • Rigid Risers: Use in place of flex tubing for extra stability when mounting mini sprayers at height.
  • Mini Sprayers: Install at the top of the stake assembly to deliver targeted water coverage to garden beds.
