How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps for a leak-free start to your system.

Step 1: Connect to Source
Ensure the rubber washer is seated inside the swivel nut. Screw the female hose swivel onto your faucet, timer, or garden hose. Hand-tighten only.

Step 2: Prepare Tubing
Cut your 3/4" poly tubing cleanly and squarely. Rotate the locking collar on the fitting backwards (towards the center of the elbow) to expose the barb.

Step 3: Insert Tubing
Push the tubing onto the barbed end until it hits the internal stop. It may require a little force to get over the barb.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the locking collar forward over the tubing. As you tighten it, the collar compresses the tubing against the barb, creating a permanent seal.
