Use specialized 12mm barbed fittings to create tees and elbows. If watering plants directly off this line, use an irrigation punch tool to create holes and press your external button emitters into the sidewall.

Step 4: Flush and Cap
Before sealing the system, turn the water on to flush any dirt out of the open line. Once the water runs clear, terminate the end using a 12mm figure-eight line end or a 12mm goof plug.

Does this tubing have watering holes in it?
No, this is "blank" distribution tubing. It has a solid wall with no pre-installed emitters or holes.

Can I use standard 1/2" Easy Loc or 17mm fittings with this?
No, you must use standard 12mm barbed fittings. Standard 1/2" compression or Easy Loc fittings (which are sized for larger 0.700" OD tubing) are too big and will not create a watertight seal on this smaller 12mm (0.510" OD) pipe.

Attempting to use standard 1/2" or 17mm fittings will result in immediate leaks and blowouts when the system pressurizes.

Can this tubing be buried underground?
