Proper installation ensures a secure bond on the pipe side.
Step 1: Prep the Pipe
Cut your 1" PVC pipe squarely and remove burrs. Clean the pipe end and the slip socket of the adapter.
Step 2: Solvent Weld
Apply PVC Primer and PVC Glue to the pipe and the adapter socket. Push the adapter onto the pipe with a quarter-turn twist and hold for 30 seconds.
Step 3: Connect Hose
Once the glue is cured, attach your garden hose or hose-thread device to the threaded end. Ensure a washer is present in the female hose fitting. Hand tighten only.
