This fitting connects via solvent welding (glue).
Step 1: Prep the Pipe
Ensure your 3/4" PVC pipe is cut square and deburred. Clean both the pipe end and the inside of the adapter's slip socket with PVC primer.
Step 2: Apply Glue
Apply a layer of PVC Glue to the outside of the pipe and the inside of the socket. Immediately push the adapter onto the pipe, twisting slightly to distribute the cement.
Step 3: Hold and Cure
Hold the fitting in place for 30 seconds to prevent push-out. Allow the glue to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions before pressurizing.
Step 4: Connect Hose Accessories
Once cured, screw your hose or accessory onto the threaded end. Always ensure a washer is in place on the female component you are attaching.
