Description

High-Volume Flow Control. Simple, Secure Connection.

The 1" Easy Loc Coupler with Shutoff Valve gives you complete control over your larger irrigation zones. Designed for 1" poly tubing (or "Oval Hose"), this inline valve allows you to easily shut off or regulate water flow to specific sections of your system.

This fitting is perfect for isolating different crop rows, managing water pressure, or creating maintenance zones. The robust Easy Loc collars ensure a leak-proof grip on the larger 1" tubing without the need for difficult compression rings or hose clamps.

Why Choose Easy Loc Technology?
  • High Flow Capacity: The 1" size allows for significantly higher water volume than standard 1/2" or 3/4" fittings, making it ideal for larger agricultural or commercial applications.
  • Integrated Flow Control: The built-in valve handle provides instant on/off capability. Isolate zones for repairs or seasonal changes with a simple quarter-turn.
  • Secure Locking Technology: The locking nuts screw over the tubing, compressing it against the internal barbs. This mechanism holds tight even under the higher pressures often associated with larger systems.
  • Tool-Free Installation: No clamps or glues required. The large, textured Easy Loc nuts are designed for easy hand-tightening.
  • UV & Chemical Resistant: Molded from high-grade polypropylene with UV stabilizers, these fittings resist cracking from sun exposure and are chemically inert to standard fertilizers.

Understanding compatibility is key. This fitting connects two pieces of 1" poly tubing.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to ensure a leak-proof connection on your 1" tubing.

Step 1: Prepare Tubing
Cut your 1" polyethylene tubing squarely with scissors or tubing cutters. If repairing a line, cut out the damaged section cleanly.

Step 2: Unlock the Fittings
Rotate the locking collars on *both ends* of the coupler backwards (towards the center valve body) to expose the internal barbs. Do not remove the nuts completely.

Step 3: Connect Tubing
Push your 1" poly tubing firmly over the barbs on each side until they hit the stops. You may need to use a wiggling motion to get the larger tubing over the barb lips.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist both locking collars forward (over the tubing) to clamp the connection in place. Hand-tighten firmly.
