Description

Fastest Installation. Strongest Connection.

The Hydro-Rain 1" Blu-Lock Tee revolutionizes the way you install sprinkler systems. Designed for speed and durability, this "push-and-go" fitting allows you to split your 1" Blu-Lock Tubing in two directions without the mess of primer or glue. Whether you are installing a new lawn system or repairing an existing lateral line, Blu-Lock offers the fastest installation method on the market.

By eliminating the need for solvent welding, you can install these irrigation fittings in wet or dry conditions immediately—no cure time required. The stainless steel retaining ring grips the pipe tightly, while the high-quality seal ensures leak-proof performance under pressure.

Why Choose Blu-Lock Technology?
  • Zero Glue, Zero Fumes: Protect your health and the environment. The push-fit design eliminates toxic PVC glues and primers entirely.
  • Install Wet or Dry: Unlike PVC glue which requires dry surfaces, Blu-Lock fittings can be installed while water is present, making them perfect for emergency repairs.
  • Up to 80% Faster: Simply push the tubing into the fitting until it stops. The connection is instant and permanent (unless released with a tool).
  • Heavy-Duty Construction: Built with UV-resistant ABS material and a stainless steel gripping ring for maximum holding power.
  • Removable & Reusable: Mistakes happen. Using the specific Release Tool, you can detach the fitting and reuse it, saving money on wasted parts.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Installation is tool-free (except for cutting the pipe).

Step 1: Cut the Pipe
Using a pipe cutter, make a clean, square cut on your 1" Blu-Lock tubing. Avoid using hacksaws, as rough edges can damage the internal O-ring.

Step 2: Push to Connect
Insert the tubing into the Tee fitting. Push firmly until you feel it slide past the grip ring and hit the internal stop. No twisting is necessary.

Step 3: Verify Connection
Give the tubing a gentle tug to ensure the stainless steel teeth have engaged. The connection is now secure and ready for water.

Removal (If Needed)
To remove the fitting, press the Blu-Lock Release Tool against the collar of the fitting to disengage the teeth, then pull the tubing out.

✔ Compatibility Check

Ensure you have the right tubing:

  • Fits: 1" Hydro-Rain Blu-Lock Coil Pipe (HDPE).
  • Does NOT Fit: Standard Schedule 40 PVC Pipe or Generic Poly Tubing with different Outer Diameters.
  • Usage: Designed for "lateral" lines (after the valve). Not recommended for constant pressure mainlines.
