Description

High-Flow Corners. Heavy-Duty Speed.

The Hydro-Rain 1" Blu-Lock Elbow brings the speed of push-to-connect technology to your larger mainline and commercial lateral applications. Designed to create a secure 90-degree turn in 1" Blu-Lock tubing, this fitting allows you to route heavy-duty supply lines into valve boxes or around hardscapes without the need for PVC primer or glue. It is an ideal solution for building fast, clean manifolds for your AC electric valves.

Unlike smaller fittings, the 1" series is built for higher volume and durability. The stainless steel retainer ring bites firmly into the pipe, creating a connection that gets tighter as pressure increases. It represents the gold standard in modern irrigation fittings for professionals who need to get off the job site faster.

Why Choose 1" Blu-Lock?
  • Glueless Install: Eliminate the mess and cure time of PVC solvent welding. Just push the pipe in for an instant, permanent seal.
  • Low Insertion Force: Despite its size, the fitting is engineered to accept the tubing with minimal effort, reducing installer fatigue.
  • Full Swivel: The fitting allows the tubing to rotate 360 degrees even under pressure, preventing kinks and allowing for easy adjustments in tight trenches.
  • Chemical Free: A safer installation method that releases no volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
  • Durable Construction: Made from high-impact ABS and stainless steel to withstand the rigors of commercial irrigation.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Installation is fast, but precise cuts matter.

Step 1: Cut the Pipe
Using a pipe cutter, make a clean, square cut on your 1" Blu-Lock tubing. Do not use a hacksaw, as rough edges can damage the internal O-ring.

Step 2: Clean
Wipe away any dirt, mud, or grit from the end of the tubing.

Step 3: Push
Insert the tubing firmly into the elbow until it hits the internal stop. Pull back gently to ensure it is locked in place.

Step 4: Swivel
Rotate the elbow to face the desired direction. The swivel action allows you to position the pipe perfectly without stress.

✔ Compatibility Check
