This Y-pattern bronze assembly uses two independently operating spring-loaded check valves and a hydraulically dependent differential relief valve to keep contaminated water from ever reaching your potable supply. Does the flood sensor send alerts automatically?
No. The flood sensor is a passive component out of the box — it does not communicate with any other device until it is activated with an add-on connection kit.
