Description

Protect Your EZ-FLO High-Pressure Injector from Overpressure Damage

The EZ-FLO Pressure Relief Valve (SKU: IEZPRV / MPN: TNK-PRV) is an essential safety component designed exclusively for use with EZ-FLO High-Pressure Fertilizer Injector Units. When line pressure exceeds safe levels, this valve automatically opens at 135 PSI to vent the excess pressure, preventing damage to your injector tank and protecting the integrity of your entire EZ-FLO fertilizer injection system.

This valve ships with an adapter bushing included for backward compatibility with older EZ-FLO tank models. Note: The adapter bushing is not required for tanks manufactured after 2013 — it installs directly for a seamless retrofit or replacement on any current high-pressure unit.

Whether you're protecting a mainline fertigation setup serving multiple irrigation zones, a commercial growing operation, or a large residential garden, this pressure relief valve is the low-cost insurance your EZ-FLO high-pressure system needs to operate safely and reliably for years.

Installation Guide

Installing or replacing the pressure relief valve on your EZ-FLO high-pressure unit is a quick process.

Step 1: Depressurize the System
Turn off the water supply and open a downstream valve or emitter to fully relieve any pressure in the line before working on your injector unit.

Step 2: Remove the Old Valve (if replacing)
Unscrew the existing pressure relief valve from the port on top of the EZ-FLO tank. Use an appropriate wrench and avoid over-tightening or twisting the tank body.

Step 3: Install the Adapter Bushing (Pre-2013 Tanks Only)
If your EZ-FLO high-pressure unit was manufactured before 2013, thread the included adapter bushing into the tank's valve port first, then install the pressure relief valve into the bushing. For tanks made after 2013, skip this step and thread the valve directly into the port.

Step 4: Thread in the Relief Valve
Thread the pressure relief valve hand-tight into the port (or into the bushing for older tanks), then snug it with a wrench. Do not overtighten.

Step 5: Test the System
Slowly restore water pressure and inspect the valve and surrounding connections for leaks before resuming normal operation.

Important notes before ordering:

  • High-Pressure Units Only: This valve is designed exclusively for EZ-FLO High-Pressure Mainline Injector Units. It is not for use with EZ-FLO hose bib (low-pressure) units.
  • Adapter Bushing for Pre-2013 Tanks: One adapter bushing is included for use with older EZ-FLO high-pressure tanks (manufactured before 2013). Tanks from 2013 onward do not require the bushing.
  • OEM Replacement Part: This is a genuine EZ-FLO OEM replacement part (MPN: TNK-PRV), ensuring correct fit and reliable overpressure protection.
