This cap kit (CAP-KIT CX) is compatible with the following EZ-FLO injector models:

Will this cap work on my older EZ-FLO injector purchased before 2017?
Yes. Per EZ-FLO, this updated CAP-KIT CX is backward-compatible with pre-2017 CX-series models including EZ001-CX, EZ003-CX, EZ 2005-HB, EZ 2020-HB, EZ 1010-HB, EZKIT-1, and EZKIT-3.

It also serves as the direct replacement for two discontinued cap parts: IEZCAP (CAP-MPT) and IEZCAPHCRS (CAP-HPC).

What else is included in this kit besides the cap?
This kit includes the replacement cap, two 16-inch universal dip tubes, and the locking nuts needed for installation.

All other components — such as O-rings, flow disc kits, tanks, and quick connects — are sold separately in our EZ-FLO Replacement Parts & Accessories section.

Why is Schedule 80 PVC used for this cap?
Schedule 80 PVC has a thicker wall than standard Schedule 40, making it rated for higher-pressure mainline applications typical of EZ-FLO CX-series high-pressure injectors.

It also provides good resistance to the fertilizer solutions and soil amendments commonly used in fertigation systems.

Do I need to replace the dip tubes when replacing the cap?
Not always, but since this kit already includes two new universal 16-inch dip tubes, it is good practice to install the fresh ones while the injector is disassembled.

Inspect your existing dip tubes for cracks or brittleness. If you only need replacement dip tubes without the full cap, they are also available separately as EZ-FLO Dip Tube Sets.
