Description

Bulk Reliability. Securely Close Your Tape Rows.

The 5/8" Teco Tape End Plug (50 Pack) provides commercial growers and large-scale gardeners with a reliable, cost-effective method for terminating runs of 5/8" drip tape. Designed with a positive locking nut mechanism, these fittings ensure a watertight seal at the end of every row, preventing leaks and maintaining consistent system pressure.

Sold in a convenient bulk pack, these end plugs utilize secure locking nut technology, which grabs the tape from the outside and compresses it against an internal barb. This design makes installation fast and tool-free while allowing for easy removal and reuse if you need to flush the lines or reconfigure your field layout at the start of a new season.

Why Choose Teco Fittings?
  • Positive Locking Action: The rotating nut screws forward over the tape, locking it securely in place even under pressure fluctuations and heat expansion.
  • Reusable Design: Unlike single-use crimp rings, these plugs can be unscrewed to open the line for flushing debris, then resealed instantly.
  • Chemical Resistant: Molded from high-quality polypropylene to withstand agricultural fertilizers, UV rays, and harsh field conditions.
  • Tool-Free Installation: Large, textured grip nuts allow for easy hand-tightening, speeding up installation times for large fields.
  • Bulk Value: The 50-pack quantity is perfect for farmers and landscape professionals managing multiple rows.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Secure your tape ends quickly and effectively.

Step 1: Prep the Tape
Cut the end of your 5/8" drip tape cleanly and squarely using scissors or a pipe cutter. Ensure there are no jagged edges.

Step 2: Position the Nut
Rotate the locking nut on the fitting backwards (towards the body of the plug) to expose the barb underneath.

Step 3: Insert the Tape
Slide the drip tape onto the barb until it hits the stop inside the fitting. The tape should go over the barb but under the locking nut.

Step 4: Lock It Down
Twist the locking nut forward (over the tape) until tight. This compresses the tape against the barb for a leak-proof seal.

✔ Compatibility Check

Ensure this plug fits your system:
