Description

Branch Your Mainline. Professional Reduction.

The 1" x 1" x 1/2" Easy Loc Reducing Tee is the professional solution for splitting your large-capacity mainline into smaller distribution zones. Designed to connect two sections of 1" Poly Tubing while creating a perpendicular outlet for 1/2" drip tubing, this fitting is essential for layout transitions. It eliminates the need for multiple bushings or glued adapters, allowing you to step down from a heavy-duty header to a garden bed line in seconds.

Constructed from durable, UV-resistant polypropylene, this tee withstands the rigors of agricultural and landscape environments. As one of our most versatile irrigation fittings for large systems, it features the reliable Easy Loc locking collar on all three ends. This technology ensures a secure, leak-proof seal that handles pressure fluctuations far better than friction-fit alternatives, all without the need for clamps or tools.

Why Choose Easy Loc Technology?
  • Seamless Reduction: Instantly transitions from 1" tubing (high flow) to 1/2" tubing (distribution) in a single fitting.
  • Secure Locking Power: The threaded collars tighten over the tubing, compressing it against the internal barbs to prevent blow-offs under pressure.
  • Tool-Free Assembly: The large, textured nuts are designed for easy hand-tightening, even when wearing gloves or working in wet conditions.
  • Fully Reusable: Perfect for evolving landscapes. If you need to change your layout, simply unscrew the collars and remove the fitting for use elsewhere.
  • Chemical Resistant: Built to withstand exposure to common fertilizers, UV rays, and outdoor elements.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to securely branch your mainline.

Step 1: Prep the Tubing
Cut your 1" tubing (for the run) and your 1/2" tubing (for the branch) squarely. Ensure the ends are clean and free of burrs.

Step 2: Unlock the Fitting
Rotate all three locking collars backwards (towards the center of the tee) to expose the internal barbs. Do not remove the nuts completely.

Step 3: Insert Tubing
Push the 1" tubing onto the large side barbs and the 1/2" tubing onto the smaller center barb. Apply force until the tubing hits the internal stops.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the locking collars forward (over the tubing) until tight. This compresses the tubing against the barbs for a permanent, leak-proof hold.

✔ Compatibility Check

Ensure you match the tubing sizes correctly:

  • Run (Side Ports): Fits standard 1" Poly Tubing (1000 Series).
  • Branch (Center Port): Fits standard 1/2" Poly Tubing (.700" OD).
  • Note: This fitting will NOT fit 3/4" tubing or Drip Tape.
