Description

Isolate Zones. Control Your Flow.

The 1/2" Easy Loc Coupler with Valve gives you complete control over individual sections of your drip system. Designed to connect two pieces of 1/2" poly tubing, this inline valve allows you to manually shut off water to specific garden beds, repair sections without turning off the main supply, or regulate flow to zones with different water requirements. It is an indispensable tool for managing complex setups alongside your timers and automation equipment.

As one of our most user-friendly irrigation fittings, the Easy Loc Valve features a large, durable green handle that is easy to grip and turn. The "Easy Loc" locking collars screw over the tubing, compressing it against the internal barbs to create a secure, leak-proof seal that can withstand pressure surges and temperature fluctuations.

Why Choose Easy Loc Valves?
  • Zone Control: Easily isolate vegetable beds during harvest or shut off hanging baskets in the off-season without affecting the rest of your system.
  • Secure Locking Technology: The locking nuts tighten over the tubing, ensuring a high-pressure grip that resists pull-out better than standard compression fittings.
  • Tool-Free Installation: No glue, clamps, or heating required. Simply push the tubing on and hand-tighten the collar.
  • Fully Reusable: Changing your layout? Just unscrew the collars, remove the tubing, and reinstall the valve wherever it's needed next.
  • Durable Construction: Made from UV-resistant polypropylene to withstand harsh sunlight and agricultural fertilizers.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Install in seconds without tools.

Step 1: Prep the Tubing
Ensure your 1/2" poly tubing is cut squarely and is free of dirt. If reusing tubing, make sure the end is not deformed.

Step 2: Unlock the Fitting
Rotate the Easy Loc locking collars on both ends backwards (towards the green handle) to expose the internal barbs. Do not remove the nuts completely.

Step 3: Insert Tubing
Push the tubing onto the barbs until it hits the internal stops. You may need to wiggle it slightly to get it over the barb.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the locking collars forward (over the tubing) to clamp the connection. Hand-tighten firmly. Test the valve handle to ensure clearance.

✔ Compatibility Check

Verify your tubing size:

  • Wire Hold Downs: Secure the tubing on either side of the valve to prevent movement.
  • End Caps: Essential for closing off the end of your drip line.
  • Punch Tool: Use this to add emitters or transfer barbs upstream or downstream.
