The Tape Loc x Female Hose Swivel (FHS) is the essential adapter for connecting your drip tape rows directly to a standard outdoor spigot or garden hose. Featuring a 3/4" Female Hose Thread (FHT) swivel, this fitting allows you to attach your tape without twisting the entire line, ensuring a clean, stress-free installation. It is the ideal starting point for raised beds, garden plots, and small-scale farms using agricultural-grade drip tape.
Designed for durability and ease of use, the swivel connection includes a rubber washer to create a watertight seal against any male hose thread outlet. As one of our most popular irrigation fittings for residential and light commercial use, it provides a professional-grade transition from high-pressure home water sources to the low-pressure requirements of drip tape systems.

Start your drip irrigation rows in four easy steps.
Step 1: Check the Washer
Ensure the black rubber hose washer is seated flat inside the 3/4" female swivel nut. This is critical for a leak-free connection.
Step 2: Connect to Source
Screw the swivel nut onto your garden hose, hose bib timer, or pressure regulator. Hand-tighten until snug. Do not use pliers, as this can damage the plastic threads.
Step 3: Prepare the Tape End
Rotate the Tape Loc nut backwards (towards the swivel end) to expose the sharp tape barb. Slide your 5/8" drip tape over the barb until it hits the plastic stop.
Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the locking nut forward (clockwise) over the tape. Tighten firmly by hand to compress the tape against the barb and complete the seal.
Verify your thread and tape sizes:
