Description

Instant Connections. Zero Glue. Permanent Results.

PVC-Lock Couplers represent the pinnacle of innovation in the world of professional irrigation fittings. By utilizing a patented "push-to-connect" stainless steel retaining ring and an EPDM O-ring seal, these couplers allow you to join Schedule 40 PVC pipe instantly without the need for toxic primers or messy glues. Whether you are installing a new manifold or repairing a line in a wet trench, PVC-Lock saves significant labor time and allows for immediate system pressurization.

These fittings are an essential upgrade when building out a manifold downstream from your irrigation timers, providing a clean, professional look that can be rotated 360 degrees after installation for perfect alignment.

Why Choose PVC-Lock Technology?
  • Glue-Free Installation: Eliminate the health risks and mess associated with PVC solvent welding. No cure time required—turn the water on immediately.
  • Wet-Trench Friendly: Unlike traditional fittings that fail if the pipe is damp, PVC-Lock seals perfectly even under water.
  • 360° Adjustability: The fitting can rotate freely around the pipe after installation, making it easy to align valves and lateral lines.
  • Retaining Ring Security: Built-in stainless steel teeth grip the pipe for a permanent connection that actually gets tighter as pressure increases.
  • Eco-Friendly: Removes VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) from your installation environment.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Square Cut
Cut your PVC pipe using a professional pipe cutter. Ensure the cut is square and clean.

Step 2: Deburr & Clean
Remove any burrs from the outside and inside of the pipe. Ensure the outside of the pipe is free of deep gouges or debris that could damage the internal O-ring.

Step 3: Measure Depth
Mark the insertion depth on the pipe to ensure the pipe is fully seated past the O-ring and stainless steel teeth.

Step 4: Push & Lock
Push the pipe into the PVC-Lock fitting until it hits the internal pipe stop. Give it a firm tug back to ensure the teeth have engaged. Your connection is now permanent and ready for water.

✔ Compatibility Check

Verify your pipe type before purchase:

  • Pipe Standard: Only compatible with Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC Pipe (ASTM D1785).
  • Installation Note: These are permanent fittings. While a removal tool exists, they are designed for long-term burial.
  • Pressure Rating: Rated for use on the "mainline" side of the system (before the valves) up to 150 PSI.
  • NOT for Gas: Strictly for cold water irrigation applications only.
