This fitting requires a permanent solvent weld on one side.
Step 1: Prepare the Pipe
Cut your 3/4" PVC pipe square and remove any burrs. Clean the pipe and the inside of the fitting's slip socket with primer.
Step 2: Glue the Connection
Apply PVC Glue to the outside of the pipe and the inside of the fitting socket. Push the fitting onto the pipe, twisting a quarter turn, and hold for 30 seconds to set.
Step 3: Attach Hose Accessory
Once the glue has cured, you can screw a garden hose, timer, or cap onto the threaded male end. Ensure a hose washer is present in the female accessory you are attaching to prevent leaks.
