IMPORTANT: This Blu-Lock fitting is designed for use with 1/2" Blu-Lock swing pipe in non-constant pressure, valve-out applications only.

This means the fitting must be installed after your sprinkler zone valves, on the lines leading to the sprinkler heads. It is not rated for constant mainline pressure and must be able to drain when the system is off. For repairs or installations on the mainline (the pipe before your zone valves), please use the appropriate PVC-Lock fittings designed for constant pressure applications. Using the correct fitting is essential for a secure, long-lasting system.
