Description

Connect Two Hoses Instantly.

The Female Hose x Female Hose Swivel is a handy problem-solver for any gardener's toolkit. Featuring two swiveling 3/4" Female Hose Thread (FHT) ends, this adapter allows you to join two garden hoses (male ends) together, effectively extending your reach without kinking or twisting the lines. It is also perfect for creating custom manifold assemblies or adapting male-threaded timers and filters.

Available in both economical Schedule 40 PVC and heavy-duty Brass, this swivel adapter ensures a tight seal with the inclusion of standard hose washers. The dual-swivel action means you can tighten both sides independently, making installation fast and frustration-free.

Why Use a Double Female Swivel?
  • Hose Extension: Quickly connect the male end of one hose to the male end of another, or connect a male-threaded spigot to a male-threaded accessory.
  • Twist-Free: Because both ends swivel freely, you can tighten the connection without rotating the entire length of the hose, preventing kinks and tangles.
  • Versatile repair: Use it to salvage a hose with a damaged female end by cutting it off and replacing it with a male mender, then connecting this swivel.
  • Durable Options: Choose PVC for lightweight, corrosion-free irrigation use, or Brass for rugged durability in high-traffic areas.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

A simple, tool-free connection.

Step 1: Inspect Washers
Ensure a rubber hose washer is seated inside both ends of the swivel adapter. Missing washers are the #1 cause of leaks.

Step 2: Connect First Side
Screw one end of the swivel onto your male hose thread source (e.g., spigot or hose end). Hand tighten until snug.

Step 3: Connect Second Side
Screw the other end onto the male thread of the second hose or accessory. Hand tighten.

Step 4: Test
Turn on the water and check for leaks. If a leak occurs, tighten slightly more by hand. Do not use a wrench on plastic fittings.
