Description

Designed for Timers. Spaced for Convenience.

The 3-Way Hose Splitter is a specialized manifold designed specifically to solve the crowding issues common with standard garden splitters. Unlike typical "Y" connectors that position outlets too close together, this unit features extra-wide spacing between its three ports. This unique design allows you to install multiple battery-operated water timers side-by-side without them bumping into each other or blocking access to the valves.

Constructed with a high-flow PVC body and a reinforced brass swivel inlet, this splitter serves as a durable hub for your faucet. It is one of our most requested irrigation fittings for gardeners who need to expand a single spigot into three independent zones—perfect for running a drip system, a soaker hose, and a standard garden hose simultaneously.

Why Choose the 3-Way Splitter?
  • Timer-Friendly Spacing: The outlets are positioned further apart than standard manifolds, accommodating bulky timer bodies and large hose fittings with ease.
  • Individual Shut-Offs: Available with independent shut-off levers (Model HSPL3SO) that give you complete control to open or close any of the three zones instantly.
  • Full-Flow Design: The internal PVC bore is designed to minimize flow restriction, ensuring ample water volume reaches your sprinklers or emitters.
  • Brass Swivel Inlet: Features a heavy-duty brass connection that swivels freely, allowing for a secure, tight seal onto your faucet without twisting the entire manifold.
  • Versatile Mounting: Ideal for use with a "hose extension" to lay the manifold flat on the ground, reducing stress on your plumbing.

Installation Tips

Option 1: Direct Faucet Mount
Ensure the washer is seated in the brass swivel. Screw the swivel onto your outdoor spigot. Hand-tighten only.

Option 2: Ground Mounting (Recommended for Timers)
If using multiple heavy water timers, we recommend attaching a short Leader Hose to your faucet and connecting the 3-Way Splitter to the other end. Laying the splitter on the ground prevents the weight of the timers from damaging your plumbing or the manifold itself.

Winterizing
Remove the splitter and all attached timers from the faucet before freezing temperatures arrive. Drain all water to prevent the PVC body from cracking.
