Description

Add Sprinklers to Your Mainline. Fast & Secure.

The 3/4" Easy Loc x 1/2" FPT Tee is the professional's choice for integrating threaded components into a drip irrigation system. It allows you to run a continuous line of 3/4" poly tubing while providing a dedicated 1/2" Female Pipe Thread (FPT) outlet in the center.

This fitting is most commonly used to install 1/2" MPT Sprinklers or Risers directly into a mainline run. Instead of cutting the line and gluing complex PVC manifolds, you can simply insert this tee, screw in your sprinkler, and lock down the tubing—all in a matter of minutes.

Why Choose Easy Loc Technology?
  • Versatile Threaded Port: The center 1/2" FPT outlet accepts any standard 1/2" Male Pipe Thread (MPT) accessory, including pop-up sprinklers, impact sprinklers, or threaded risers.
  • Secure Locking Technology: The locking nuts screw over the tubing, compressing it against the internal barbs. This ensures a leak-proof seal that handles pressure surges better than friction-fit fittings.
  • Tool-Free Tubing Install: No clamps or glues required for the tubing connections. The large, textured Easy Loc nuts are designed for easy hand-tightening.
  • Fully Reusable: If you need to move a sprinkler or change your layout, you can easily unscrew the collars and remove the fitting to use elsewhere.
  • UV & Chemical Resistant: Molded from high-grade polypropylene with UV stabilizers to withstand harsh sun and fertilizers.
Technical Specifications

Understanding compatibility is key. This fitting connects tubing to a threaded accessory.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to ensure a leak-proof connection.

Step 1: Install the Threaded Component First
Apply thread seal tape to your 1/2" MPT riser or sprinkler. Screw it into the center FPT outlet of the tee. Hand-tighten firmly. Since this tee does not swivel, you must attach the threaded item before connecting the tubing.

Step 2: Prepare Tubing
Cut your 3/4" mainline tubing where you want the tee to be located. Ensure cuts are square and clean.

Step 3: Connect Tubing
Rotate the Easy Loc locking collars backwards on both sides. Push your 3/4" poly tubing over the barbs until they hit the stops.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the locking collars forward (over the tubing) to clamp the fitting in place.

✔ Compatibility Check

Check your thread type carefully:

  • Center Connection: This is 1/2" Female Pipe Thread (FPT). It is compatible with standard PVC risers and sprinkler heads.
  • It is NOT compatible with Garden Hose Threads (GHT) found on spigots or garden hoses.
  • Side Connections: Fit standard 3/4" Poly Tubing (.940" OD).
  • It will NOT fit flat Drip Tape.
