Description

Complex Layouts Made Simple. Centralize Your Flow.

The 3/4" Easy Loc 4-Way Cross is a heavy-duty specialty fitting designed to create a central hub in your high-flow irrigation system. Perfect for square garden plots, orchard grids, or greenhouse blocks, this fitting allows you to connect four separate lines of 3/4" tubing at a single junction point. It simplifies the installation of grid patterns, ensuring equal water distribution across multiple zones without the need for complex manifolds or separate timers for each section.

Robust and reliable, this fitting is one of the most durable irrigation fittings available for larger diameter tubing. It utilizes the proven Easy Loc locking technology—a collar that screws over the tubing to lock it securely onto the barb. This compression-style grip is ideal for 3/4" mainline, which carries a higher volume of water and is heavier than standard 1/2" lines, ensuring your connections stay tight even under pressure changes.

Why Choose Easy Loc Crosses?
  • Efficient Grid Layouts: Ideal for creating a central intersection in "block" watering systems, allowing water to flow in four directions from one supply point.
  • High-Flow Capacity: Designed specifically for 3/4" tubing (Series 800), accommodating the higher flow rates (up to 8 GPM) required for larger gardens or row crops.
  • Secure Locking Mechanism: The large locking collars provide excellent leverage for hand-tightening, gripping the tubing wall firmly to prevent blowouts.
  • Reusable & Removable: Unlike glued PVC crosses, this fitting can be removed and reused. Simply unscrew the collars to disassemble your system for winter storage or redesign.
  • Professional Grade: Molded from UV-resistant polypropylene to withstand the rigors of agricultural use and harsh sunlight.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Create a 4-way junction in minutes.

Step 1: Cut the Tubing
Cut your 3/4" poly tubing into four sections where the cross will be located. Ensure all cuts are straight and clean for the best seal.

Step 2: Loosen Collars
Rotate the locking collars backwards on all four sides of the fitting to expose the internal barbs.

Step 3: Insert Tubing
Push the 3/4" tubing onto each barb until it hits the stop. This may require some force due to the larger diameter—wetting the tubing end or using warm water can help.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist each locking collar forward (over the tubing) until tight. This secures the tubing against the barb.

✔ Compatibility Check

Verify your tubing size:

  • Fits: 3/4" Poly Tubing with an Outside Diameter (OD) of approx. .940".
  • Does NOT Fit: Standard 1/2" Tubing (.700" OD). That requires a Series 600 fitting.
  • Does NOT Fit: 1" Tubing.

Complete Your System

Ensure a professional installation with these compatible parts:

  • 3/4" Mainline Tubing: The high-capacity tubing designed for this fitting.
  • 3/4" End Cap: Required to close off the open ends of your grid.
  • Hold Downs: Heavy-duty staples to keep your 3/4" lines flat and secure.
  • Punch Tool: Necessary if you plan to insert emitters or 1/4" barbs into your new lines.
