How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps for a watertight connection.

Step 1: Tape the Threads
Apply thread seal tape to the 1/2" male threads. Wrap clockwise 3-4 times. This is required for MPT fittings to seal against PVC or regulators.

Step 2: Install Threaded End
Screw the adapter into your 1/2" Female Pipe Thread (FPT) component (such as a PVC tee, riser, or regulator). Hand-tighten securely.

Step 3: Prep Tubing
Cut your 1/2" poly tubing squarely. Rotate the Easy Loc locking collar backwards (towards the threaded end) to expose the barb.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Push the tubing firmly over the barb until it hits the stop. Twist the locking collar forward over the tubing to clamp the connection.
