Follow these steps for a leak-free connection.
Step 1: Clean the Cuts
Ensure both ends of the 1/2" tubing you want to join are cut cleanly and are free of dirt or jagged edges.
Step 2: Unlock the Fitting
Rotate the locking collars on both ends backwards (towards the center of the fitting) to expose the barbs.
Step 3: Insert Tubing
Push the tubing ends over the barbs until they hit the internal stops. You may need to wiggle the tubing slightly to get it fully seated.
Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the locking collars forward over the tubing. Hand-tighten firmly to secure the connection.
