Description

Branch Out with Confidence. Build a Better Manifold.

The PVC Tee (SxSxS) is the essential junction fitting for any irrigation or plumbing system. Featuring three slip sockets of equal size, this tee allows you to split a single line into two directions or create a 90-degree branch off your main PVC pipe run. It is frequently paired with PVC 90° Elbows to route water precisely around obstacles. Whether you are building a multi-valve manifold or simply routing water to a new garden zone, this fitting provides the structural integrity and flow capacity you need.

Molded from industrial-grade Schedule 40 PVC, these tees are designed for permanent, solvent-welded connections. They resist corrosion, scaling, and UV degradation, making them suitable for both underground trench installations and above-ground pump assemblies.

Why Choose Dura Schedule 40 PVC?
  • Uniform Flow: The smooth interior walls minimize pressure loss at the branch point, ensuring efficient water delivery to all zones.
  • Heavy-Duty Bond: The deep sockets provide ample surface area for the solvent cement, creating a fused joint that is leak-proof and pressure-rated.
  • Chemical Resistance: Impervious to rust, rot, and standard agricultural fertilizers, ensuring a long lifespan even in harsh soil conditions.
  • Versatile Application: Perfect for irrigation mainlines, sprinkler systems, pool plumbing, and DIY PVC structures.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps for a secure three-way connection.

Step 1: Dry Fit
Cut your three pipe sections squarely and deburr the edges. Assemble the tee onto the pipes without glue to ensure correct positioning and measurement.

Step 2: Prime
Disassemble. Apply Purple Primer to the outside of the pipe ends and the inside of the tee sockets.

Step 3: Glue
Apply a generous coat of PVC Glue to both the pipe and the socket.

Step 4: Assemble
Immediately push the pipe into the tee with a quarter-turn twist to distribute the cement. Hold for 30 seconds. Repeat for the other two connections.

✔ Compatibility Check

Ensure you have the right fitting:

  • All Ports (Slip): Fit OVER standard Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC Pipe.
  • It does NOT fit inside another fitting (it is not a Spigot tee).
  • It is NOT threaded. Glue is required.
  • All three openings are the same size. (For different sizes, look for a Reducing Tee).

Complete Your System

Everything you need for a professional installation:

  • PVC Primer: Critical for softening the PVC to ensure a permanent solvent weld.
  • PVC Glue: The heavy-duty cement required to bond the tee to the pipe.
  • PVC Pipe Cutters: Ensure square, clean cuts with our 1", 1-1/2", 2", or Fiskars cutters.
