The Schedule 40 PVC Street Elbow is the professional's secret weapon for building compact valve manifolds and saving space in tight irrigation boxes. Unlike a standard elbow, a "Street" elbow features one end that fits inside another fitting (or valve), eliminating the need for a short pipe nipple.
Available in multiple configurations—including MPT x FPT, Spigot x Slip, and MPT x Slip—these Dura Plastics fittings allow you to make immediate 90-degree turns directly from a tee, valve, or filter. They are molded from durable, chemical-resistant Schedule 40 PVC, perfect for both residential and commercial water systems.
Whether you are assembling a new valve box or retrofitting an existing setup, these durable connectors are essential irrigation fittings for maintaining a clean and professional layout. By reducing the number of connection points, they not only save space but also minimize the potential for leaks in your system.

Installation depends on the connection type.
For Threaded Ends (MPT/FPT):
Apply 3-4 wraps of thread seal tape to the male threads. Screw the fitting in by hand until snug, then add one half-turn with pliers. Do not overtighten.
For Solvent Weld Ends (Slip/Spigot):
1. Clean both surfaces (the pipe/spigot and the socket).
2. Apply PVC Primer to both surfaces.
3. Apply PVC Glue while primer is wet.
4. Insert fully, twist a quarter turn, and hold for 30 seconds.
