How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Double solvent welding is required for bushings.

Step 1: Prep All Surfaces
Clean four surfaces: the outside of the bushing, the inside of the bushing, the inside of the receiving fitting (e.g., Tee), and the outside of the pipe.

Step 2: Prime
Apply Purple Primer to all mating surfaces. Do not skip this step.

Step 3: Glue Bushing
Apply PVC Glue to the outside of the bushing and the inside of the larger fitting. Insert the bushing fully until flush, twist 1/4 turn, and hold for 30 seconds.

Step 4: Glue Pipe
Apply glue to the inside of the bushing and the outside of your smaller pipe. Insert the pipe, twist, and hold to set the final connection.
