Description

Maximum Volume. Precision Flow Control.

The High-Flow Hose Shutoff is engineered to eliminate the pressure loss commonly found in standard garden hose valves. Featuring a massive internal "full-port" opening, this valve allows for the maximum possible water volume to pass through your system. It is often paired with battery-operated timers to provide a manual override or a quick-access shut-off point at the end of a long garden hose.

Whether you are filling stock tanks, washing equipment, or managing high-volume irrigation fittings, this heavy-duty valve provides a leak-proof seal and effortless operation. The ergonomic handle is designed for comfort, allowing users with limited hand strength to easily toggle water flow on and off without struggling against high city water pressure.

Why Choose a High-Flow Valve?
  • Unrestricted Flow: The oversized internal ball valve matches the diameter of the hose, preventing the "bottleneck" effect caused by standard consumer-grade valves.
  • Rugged Durability: Constructed from UV-stabilized, impact-resistant nylon and polypropylene to withstand the rigors of farm and garden use.
  • Leak-Proof Performance: Features a high-quality internal washer and precision-molded threads to ensure a drip-free connection even under high pressure.
  • Ergonomic Grip: The large, textured handle provides excellent leverage, making it easy to operate with wet hands or while wearing garden gloves.
  • Professional Grade: A favorite among nursery professionals and commercial growers who require reliable water flow control.

Installation & Usage Guide

Step 1: Check the Washer
Ensure the rubber hose washer is properly seated inside the female threads of the shutoff valve to prevent leaks.

Step 2: Attach to Source
Thread the female end of the valve onto your outdoor spigot, garden hose, or Hose Y-Splitter. Hand-tighten until firm.

Step 3: Connect Your Accessory
Thread your spray nozzle, hose, or drip system adapter onto the male end of the valve.

Step 4: Operate
Rotate the blue (or black) handle 90 degrees to toggle between full-flow and complete shut-off. No tools are required.

✔ Thread Compatibility Warning

This valve uses Garden Hose Threads (GHT):

  • Fits: Standard outdoor faucets, spigots, garden hoses, and hose-end splitters.
  • Does NOT Fit: 3/4" Iron Pipe Thread (IPT) or PVC pipe fittings without a GHT-to-NPT adapter.
  • Usage Tip: Always shut off the water at the main spigot when the system is not in use for extended periods to prevent constant pressure stress.
