Follow these steps to build a pressure testing assembly.
Step 1: Tape the Gauge
Apply thread seal tape to the 1/4" Male Pipe Threads of your pressure gauge.
Step 2: Attach to Adapter
Screw the gauge into the small 1/4" opening of the adapter. Hand-tighten securely (use a wrench gently if needed, but do not crack the plastic).
Step 3: Connect to Water Source
Ensure a hose washer is inside the swivel nut. Screw the adapter onto your hose bib or hose end. Open the valve to read the pressure.
