The Female Hose Swivel x 1/4" Female Pipe Adapter is a specialized fitting designed primarily for checking water pressure at a hose bib or garden hose end. By converting a standard garden hose connection to a small 1/4" Female Pipe Thread (FPT), it allows you to screw in a standard pressure gauge and get an instant reading of your static water pressure.

Featuring a convenient swivel hose connection, this adapter can be easily attached to a faucet or the end of a "Hose Y" without rotating the gauge itself. How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to build a pressure testing assembly.

Step 1: Tape the Gauge
Apply thread seal tape to the 1/4" Male Pipe Threads of your pressure gauge.

Step 2: Attach to Adapter
Screw the gauge into the small 1/4" opening of the adapter. Hand-tighten securely (use a wrench gently if needed, but do not crack the plastic).

Step 3: Connect to Water Source
Ensure a hose washer is inside the swivel nut. Screw the adapter onto your hose bib or hose end. Open the valve to read the pressure.
