Description

Seal Your System. Block Dirt & Debris.

The Female Hose Plug is a specialized protective fitting designed to seal off female hose thread connections when they are not in use. Featuring standard 3/4" Male Hose Threads (MHT), this plug screws into female swivel adapters, essentially acting as a stopper to prevent insects, dirt, and moisture from entering your open lines.

This component is one of our most recommended irrigation fittings for winterization. When you disconnect your mainline from the faucet for the season, screwing this plug into your female hose start (swivel) ensures the system stays clean and ready for spring.

Why Choose This Plug?
  • Winter Protection: Prevents nesting insects and dirt accumulation in your supply line when disconnected from the water source.
  • System Isolation: Allows you to cap off specific zones or "Female Hose Start" fittings in complex, multi-line gardens.
  • Standard Fit: Designed to fit perfectly into any standard 3/4" Female Hose Thread swivel or fitting.
  • Durable Plastic: Resists corrosion and weather damage, making it ideal for long-term outdoor storage.

✔ Compatibility Check

Is this a Plug or a Cap?

  • This is a PLUG: It has Male Threads. It fits INTO a female opening.
  • Use it for: Closing off "Female Hose Start" adapters (CHS, ELFH).
  • Do NOT use it for: Capping a faucet/spigot. (A faucet has male threads; you cannot screw a male plug onto a male faucet. You need a Hose Cap for that).

Complete Your System
