Description

Turn Corners. Reduce Size. All in One.

The 3/4" x 1/2" Easy Loc Reducing Elbow is a dual-purpose fitting that solves two common irrigation challenges at once. It allows you to make a clean 90-degree turn while simultaneously transitioning from 3/4" Mainline Tubing down to a 1/2" distribution line.

This fitting is perfect for routing water from a larger supply header into smaller garden beds or rows. By combining the elbow and reducer into a single unit, you eliminate the need for extra couplers and potential leak points, ensuring a smooth, unrestricted flow path for your system.

Why Choose Easy Loc Technology?
  • Seamless Reduction: Eliminates the need for multiple fittings. Handle the turn and the size change instantly.
  • Secure Locking Technology: The locking nuts screw over the tubing, compressing it against the internal barbs. This ensures both tubing sizes stay connected under pressure.
  • Fully Reusable: Perfect for seasonal gardens. If you need to reconfigure your layout, simply unlock the collars and remove the tubing.
  • Tool-Free Installation: No clamps, ratchets, or hot water required. The large, textured nuts are designed for easy hand-tightening.
  • UV & Chemical Resistant: Molded from high-grade polypropylene with UV stabilizers, these fittings resist cracking from sun exposure and are chemically inert to standard fertilizers.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to ensure a leak-proof connection on both tubing sizes.

Step 1: Prepare Tubing
Cut both your 3/4" and 1/2" polyethylene tubing squarely. Ensure the cuts are clean and free of burrs.

Step 2: Unlock the Fittings
Rotate the locking collars on both ends of the elbow backwards (towards the center) to expose the internal barbs. Do not remove the nuts completely.

Step 3: Connect Tubing
Match the tubing size to the correct port (Large nut = 3/4", Small nut = 1/2"). Push the tubing firmly over the barb until it hits the stop.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the locking collars forward (over the tubing) to clamp the connection in place. Hand-tighten firmly.

✔ Compatibility Check

Check your tubing sizes carefully:

  • Large Side: Fits standard 3/4" Poly Tubing (.940" OD).
  • Small Side: Fits standard 1/2" Poly Tubing (.700" OD).
  • It will NOT fit Drip Tape.
