Description

High Flow Start. Secure Connection.

The 3/4" Compression Female Hose Start is the foundational fitting for high-capacity drip systems. Designed to connect a standard 3/4" outdoor faucet or hose bibb directly to 3/4" mainline tubing, this adapter allows you to maximize water flow to large gardens, orchards, or vineyard rows.

Featuring a convenient 3/4" Female Hose Thread (FHT) Swivel, this fitting attaches easily to your water source, timer, or filter without twisting the heavy-duty tubing. As one of our most robust irrigation fittings, it utilizes a strong internal compression ring to grip the larger .940" OD tubing, ensuring a blow-out proof seal even under substantial pressure.

Why Choose a 3/4" Swivel Start?
  • High Volume Supply: Specifically designed for 3/4" tubing, allowing for longer runs and more emitters than standard 1/2" systems.
  • Easy Swivel Action: The independent spinning nut makes installation effortless, allowing you to tighten the connection to the faucet without wrestling with stiff mainline tubing.
  • Permanent Grip: The compression technology bites firmly into the .940" OD tubing, creating a permanent bond that resists separation.
  • Heavy-Duty Build: Molded from UV-resistant ABS plastic to handle the demands of commercial and large residential applications.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Install your heavy-duty system in minutes.

Step 1: Check the Washer
Ensure the rubber hose washer is seated inside the swivel nut. This is critical for a leak-free connection to the faucet.

Step 2: Connect to Source
Screw the swivel nut onto your hose bibb, pressure regulator, or filter. Hand-tighten firmly until snug. Do not use tools.

Step 3: Insert Tubing
Cut your 3/4" poly tubing squarely. Push it into the compression end of the adapter.
Pro Tip: 3/4" tubing is stiff! Warm the end in the sun or hot water to make insertion much easier. Rock the tubing back and forth while pushing until it passes the internal ring.
