The 1" Easy Loc x 1" MPT Adapter is the essential link between your water source and your large-diameter distribution line. Designed to connect 1" Poly Tubing directly to any 1" Female Pipe Thread (FPT) component—such as a filter, pressure regulator, or PVC valve—this fitting creates a solid, high-flow transition point.
Part of our professional line of irrigation fittings, the Easy Loc (Perma-Loc) design utilizes a locking nut that screws over the tubing to compress it against the barb. This ensures a secure connection that can handle the volume of a 1" system. Unlike glued PVC fittings, this adapter allows you to easily disconnect the tubing from the threaded component for maintenance or winterization.

Proper installation ensures a leak-free system.
Step 1: Apply Tape
Wrap thread seal tape 2-3 times around the 1" male threads. This is critical for preventing leaks at the threaded connection.
Step 2: Connect Threads
Screw the adapter into your 1" FPT valve, filter, or fitting. Hand-tighten firmly. Do not over-tighten with a wrench.
Step 3: Prepare Tubing
Cut your 1" poly tubing squarely. Rotate the locking nut on the adapter backwards to expose the barb.
Step 4: Lock it Down
Push the tubing onto the barb until it hits the stop. Twist the locking nut forward over the tubing to seal the connection.
